This picture features two different types of adjustable pipe supports from Series 1000 being installed. The taller one on the right is Figure 1021, with a rectangular support plate for u-bolts and half-round thermoplastic rods. The one on the left is Figure 1025, with an FRP lined cradle/saddle.

Shim blocks can be supported on a concrete pedestal, or in this case, a steel support beam.

Pictured here are HPS Figure #1022 adjustable pipe supports installed in a gas compression and dewpointing facility.

Another pallet of high quality adjustable pipe supports is labeled and ready to ship. These supports are on their way for service in supporting in a propylene metering station. All the required nuts, washers, and u-bolts (not shown) are also supplied with the adjustable pipe supports.

This order of pipe supports was sent straight to the customer’s jobsite on a fast turnaround “hot shot” order. The large shim blocks and baseplate will be used to support a 42″ pig trap.

Here we have an adjustable pedestal support fitted with a custom extra-large valve support head for supporting a 6″ expanding gate valve. Galvanized with FRP liner on the support head.

Quality is a top priority for Houston Pipe Supports. Pictured here is a batch of shim blocks that have passed their QAQC checks and are ready for shipment.

This picture has a good view of the 1/8″ FRP liners that are installed standard in pipe clamps. The FRP is an excellent material for clamp liners as it is very durable and economic.

These shim blocks are for NPS 36″ and are being shipped out for use in conjunction with a baseplate and a holddown clamp. The shim blocks are lined with a standard 1/8″ FRP liner.

These 36″ Hold Down clamps have been stood up on their pallet to illustrate their large size. These clamps will be used in Series 2000 assemblies (w/ shim blocks and baseplate). Notice the lifting lugs that are provided standard for ease of handling and installation.

Pictured above is an extremely common and cost effective pipe support solution, which Houston Pipe Supports sells under Series 4000. Half-round thermoplastic rods supporting the pipe, which is secured from lateral movement by polyolefin shrink wrap coated u-bolts.

Series 1000 adjustable pedestal supports can be configured to be highly compact for supporting pipe in tight spaces.

Series 5000 PTFE lined hold down clamps. These clamps are also supplied with the necessary bolts, nuts, and washers.

These clamps are back from the galvanizer and area ready for the final step of fabrication (liner installation).

These supports products from Series 1500 are a simple and cost effective way to support small bore piping. They can be supplied in either standard duty (2x2x3/8) or heavy duty (3x3x3/8) configurations.

Each of these adjustable pedestals are manufactured to a custom customer specified dimension. To keep track of each piece, a project specific custom part # is assigned to each one.

Spacer supports are part of Product Series 3500. They are used in conjunction with a baseplate and holddown clamp. The fabrication of this spacer support is nearly complete and is awaiting the installation of its 1/8″ FRP top liner.

Houston Pipe Supports has standard shim block solutions for pipe sizes 2” to 54”, and can custom engineer shim blocks for larger sizes.    

This Finite Element Analysis (FEA) rendering is from a shim block load capacity study to evaluate vertical, lateral, and axial load conditions.  The powerful FEA software makes evaluating the complex geometry of the pipe/shim block system possible.    

These FRP saddles are attached directly to the pipe using high strength epoxy. The FRP protects the pipe from wear and corrosion at the point of contact with the support. Houston Pipe Supports can supply FRP saddles and the epoxy with any support package.

Great looking small pipe hold down clamps with FRP liners installed.

These 24″ galvanized steel pipe clamps have their 1/8″ FRP liner installed and are ready to ship.

A large order of custom shim blocks for 48” piping.

This custom engineered shim block for 48” pipe was sloped 2 degrees and also designed for high loading capabilities. It featured a cotton duck pad liner and was over 2 feet long to provide additional support length for the pipe.

This picture is from an order of custom of (10) 48″ guide clamps with cotton duck pad (CDP) liners. Each of the guide clamps weighed in at 750 Lbs.

These extended bolt hold down clamps are often used in areas where vibration control, compactness, or high temperature capabilities are required. The extended bolts help to keep the clamp tight and avoid loosening. These clamps are awaiting installation of their PTFE liners.

This order of NPS 24″ / 16″ / 10″ pipe clamps shipped out to a customer in Midland Odessa. They were used in conjunction with adjustable spacers from product Series 3500.

NPS 2″ Galvanized baseplates with FRP pads found in the product Houston Pipe Supports “Series 3000” line.

These custom-made welded pipe shoes were designed for attachment to the bottom of 36″ welded tees with 50 kip vertical loading. Notice the slot on the pipe shoe to miss the weld seam of the tee and the corner weep holes for draining/venting the pipe shoe. The shoes also had a custom sloped contour.

This expedited order of 8” adjustable pipe supports was shipped bare and painted in the field as a way to save a few critical days on the project.

Houston Pipe Supports has no problem tackling big pipe support challenges.  This order had many 30” and 20” custom bolt-on pipe shoes with PTFE slide plates.
